Medical professionals use this otoscope for ear examinations for ear infections, otitis media, or other ear abnormalities.The Ear Scope 1205 is the basic home otoscope 1202 with added features for medical professionals. This tough, lightweight pocket otoscope has identical optics, illumination and visualization.  Refer to the EARS book and you will be able to identify whether a doctor visit is needed.
For clinical use, a special adapter was added to use standard disposable tips (specula). This adapter provides a secure grip for users. In addition, there is a 9mm nasal speculum and a pull-off penlight handy for inspection of throat, mouth and eyes.
