The Eva dry dehumidifier is only 8.5 inches high, takes up a small footprint of 6 inches by 5 inches and removes moisture without a compressor while being very quiet to operate. The amount of heat produced by this dehumidifer is minimal. Yet this quiet dehumidifier works efficiently to remove moisture from the air in small to medium rooms. Spillproof water reservoir holds 2 cups of water or 1 pint.

Note: We tested this unit on August 18, 2007 by plugging into an extension cord and placing it in a Toyota sedan whose windshield had leaked during a drive through a heavy rainstorm. First we mopped up excess water. Although it was used along with an Eva Dry 300 and an Eva Dry 500, the dehumidifier unit extracted 1/3 cup of moisture overnight. Using all three items, the car owner pronounced the vehicle "bone-dry" after 24 hours. We also operate a unit 24/7 next to a laser printer in our main office.
