IMPORTANT:
  • This unit's sensor ONLY detects raw, unburned propane leaks. Install a carbon monoxide alarm to protect against carbon monoxidepoisoning from defective furnaces, gas ranges, etc. We sell 12Vhard-wired units by Safe-T-Alert and CCI Controls and 9V battery unitsby Costar.
  • Note: UL 1484 listed combustible gas detectors are not detectorsfor minute gas leaks. Sensors and detectors are tested in a combustiblegas environment and meet the UL 1484 standards for alerts of dangerousgas levels. Deliberate exposure to natural gas, butane, propane, etc. can destroy the sensor in this unit. Use the test button to test this unit, not exposure to combustible gases.
